its not fisheye...both sides would be curved, and thats just the way the tree grew out of that big ass rock!!

im pretty sure its a wide angle lens...just not a legit fisheye lens

No fisheye, 18mm lens on a 1.6x crop body = about 29mm on 35mm FF

So it's just a decently wide angle lens.

I suspect that the righthand side of the pic has been cropped off a little to improve the composition. That may explain why the tree on the left is a little bent and the right hand side looks straighter. But whatever, I wish I had taken the picture! I certainly don't have the balls to ride it.

Nah it was Rilor (Riley McIntosh) originally, then Sterling Lorence and Simmons Reworked it. Thats what Simmons wrote in the Aug 2010 Bike Mag.
