Been looking at saving for one of these..how do you find it? Had mixed reviews some saying how the rear end isn't particularly active and some saying its the best bike they've ever thrown a leg over
eh, i cant see how you could criticize it a bike of this spec. The progression in the rear is liniar by design, i wouldnt say its not active. I guess it comes down to what you are use to and what you use it for. What it is is very fast and rigid, the rear tracks very well to the terrain and if you put the time and money in you can get quite a light strong bike.
i love it, i can see why its raced on the world cups. hope this helps mate
Yeah cheers mate, Tbf i'm upgrading from a Kona Stinky... so you can probably gather how any modern DH frame is a step up and I dunno, I really like how it looks and it seems the perfect light, fast chuckable bike for UK use and how I ride.. Just gotta save up now lol
i know what you mean. lots of good frame out now sesssion, giant, santa cruz all good. but i would recommend the 303. just watch tho as the 303 now comes with a tapered headtube as standard so you have a 1.5 bottom and 1.18 top and if you have a straight steerer causes al sorts of problems. i had top get a a hope combi head set then order a standard 1.18 top cup from hope
