Highly crazy. 10"travel (and mx forks?)and carbon frame!!! How much have you spent on it?
1. Upper chainstay is the seatstay.

I had one of those old gaint carbon DH bikes come into shop. It didn't have a rear fork but it had an even wierder linkage. The guy was using it for commuting, I almost wanted to buy it off him and slap him.
Yeah guys you see the seatstay isn't a fork, it has adjustable crowns. That way you can adjust your BB height.

Id have thought it was obvious, look at the differences, i mean, what happened? its a machine now when the original spec and pic in bikepedia is basically an xc bike
well for starters thers no chance that weighs that, the forks and wheels are probably that weight, but cool bike non the less
The beauty of this bike lies in the time spent out in the garage modifying, fabricating and making all this shit work together. Of course its ugly, that's just so far from the whole point of doing a project like this.
i had a older bighit than that! dont diss! then agen i was 15 when i had that, hes 18 and still got it haha i think this bikes well good for the fact that hes gone and done somthing diferent!
can i ask, why everyone hatess on bighits lol, everyone says that they are too popular but i see more glorys and demos than bighits, and his dunt look too bad anyways
Look in the for sale section thers about 200 bighits and 2 demos ? maybe 4 glorys i love the old bighits ride so well i mena my demo was nice but id deffo buy a bighit again
I checked just now. There were 267 matches for "big hit" and 316 for Demo. Also, there were 112 for Glory. Don't read too much into this, your the one who told me to "look in the sale section" for big hits.................

My first comment was through visual reference throughout looking for a bike, i don't know if you've used your eyes but some goons on here advertise there "norco atomic demo big hit" or sell the brakes with big hit in the title which is not actually a big hit, rendering your results useless.

If I go by what you claim to have found in just the UK, that is hardly a 100 to 1 ratio of Big HIts to Demos like you were saying. Its about 3 to 1, that is a pretty big margin of error, even for a stat pulled from thin air..........

that is just disgustingly ugly! And why on earth would you put LED's on the bike? 18 Lbs I call bullshit on that. there are hardlay any 18lb carbon XC bikes out there let alone a 18lb carbon DH bike. I think someone was smokin a little to much crack!

wait wouldn't the crown of the fork hit the seat tube with in like 2 inches of the shock link moving ?
it only moves about 2 inches. the rocker is equal on both sides of the pivot so it's about a 1 to 1 ratio and the stroke looks to be about 2 or less inches.

all i can say is cool handy work and awesome way to recycle parts this is one off and deserve my respect for trying hard i bet its very supple on DH

Anyone tried to do a selfbuild a bike? The inc RST looks dope, hardcore froks and 3 ring -tour de france ready. But props fur a try, must be funn to try ride it

dude bike looks awesome, but i think u need to remove that front shifter/deraulier and put some nice single speed dh crank 38t ring with mrp system chain guide, and rear shock as well, dhx5.0, is that fork steel? u need fox40 bro... and your bike will rock, i am sure it will weigh lighter, cheers
