yep, 8.5 x 2.5 Shame as i just sold the Roco i had on there. Have to say mate, I would consider getting another frame. I got mine at christmas this year and on the second ride out i managed to total the front end with a tiny off. Flared the headtube and kinked the down tube (look at my album, 'felt got issues'. I loved the way it rode but it would appear its made of tin foil! It really wasnt a high speed falling off or anything.
Such a shame as the company (well at least the UK distributer anyway-Saddleback bikes) as they said its my fault and they won't warrent it. However they will do me a black (not white) front end on its own for £170! I told them to stick it, robbing sods. Crap customer service if you ask me. Spesh, or the other big brands would have more than likely honoured the warrenty or done a 'good will gesture'. Failing that, at least a new front end at cost. I only paid £1k for the whole bike from wiggle. £170 is a tad OTT.
Just my findings anyway. If you do choose a new shock, go coil and platformless (CCDB, Vivid, Roco etc) these frames do not need a pedal platform due to the suspension design.
