[i.e. springs, rubber, bungee, etc.] 2. Why not make a rear triangle as well like on the Kona? I suppose it would mean designing the stay with a tuning-fork-style end?

Skis are centered with springs. The rear swing arm still has another function concept which I'm still trying to develop for chairlift mounting.
Yes it does. I'll be able to give a better opinion after our trip to Jay Peak Vt. where I'll really put it to the test. But right now it seems to carve even better than the Stinky which handled amazing!
