ya me too ..the colors are so dope how it all worked out ...even better than i had planned ..and even with the mess up on the frame color..i'm still very pleased on how it turned out ..originally it was going to be all dif shades of blue on a turquoise blue frame ...but when the frame came it was black and not the color i wanted ..and worst i had all ready ordered all the blue parts ...for it....so the black frame with red lettering messed up every thing ..so i had to rethink the build and .. ...so then i came up with keeping the most of blue but i added the red color in to go with the red lettering on the frame...so i ignored the black color of the frame and built it to fit the blue parts and added the red parts in line order of the lettering so ..if you look close you see the red is exactly were it should be and the blue is exactly were it should be ...so now the black frame color is not a issue at all now...the blue and red on the black frame is perfect all together now...best build i have done so far and considering it was not my original plan ...and with the frame being black it had to be done just right to look good...as it does ...
over $2000 cause first i had all blue parts bought and ordered and then at the last minute i had to buy all the red parts to go with the frame ...but it was worth it ..every thing is brand new it was my birthday and Christmas prez...my bd is in November and i started the build then..and i finished building it Dec ..i have had 2 short rides on it so far ...and every day i have to look at how sick it looks and can't ride it till the snow is gone .....I cant wait any more ahhhhh....when i tried it out it was so sick to ride ...and the tires roll like slicks on street you feel no tread at all when in and like dirt tires on the dirt..there sick....i can't wait to ride my bikes
Joy ride is by T.O. and its too far just to go ride ..thats a road trip and a weekend thing ..well we have Taz here i would be there ridding but i'm not ready just yet to ride ..i had a crash last summer and busted out %50 of my front top and lower teeth and fractured my jaw in 4 spots ..so i have bin off ridding for along time now ...dealing with surgery..and then dental surgery...its all finally done and i can almost eat meat again..i have a week or 2 left till i'm back to 100%..... and man i cant wait any longer to ride ..lol i have bin ridding my ns in the house the past few days ..but not much room so its not too fun lol ...come on snow go away ...
lol iv been doing the same with my WeThePeople and i fell into the frezzer a few times so now theres dents in it, but that must of been one hell of crash to knock out alot of ur teeth
ya it was ..i was stupid that day ..i was at the dirt jumps back of Taz on my Da bomb Dirt jumper ..and this bike is a sick dirt jumper ..even though it looks hefty its not at all...you can pull huge air with it easily..its a tight small frame but made wide ...and i got way fat rims and tires front- rear ..its sick and jumps very well ...and its not that old so was kinda still getting use to it.and well one day i was at the djs later afternoon almost dark and was hitting the jumps and the last time i way over shot the landing by alot .and landed flatland ...my bike landed it well i how ever i did not i kissed the stem and bar full on and i found out the symtra bar and stem is not teeth friendly .....man my bike was dirty and a bit bloody but nothing broken whats so ever on it ...the only part that took and damage was the bar were my face hit .you can clearly see 2 big deep scrapes were teeth met bar ...lol still got the stem n bar on it ...not broken but def marked ..so i'll always see it and remind my self fullface helmet for dirt jumps..i had one but never wore it dj only when down hillin ..and i was wearing a dj helmet ..but not a fulface
dude you gotta wear a helmet it don't need to be full face ..and if you get a cheap one then there heavy and don't fit for shit ..spend a bit more cash on a good dj helmet you can get some very light ..fits snug and comfy ..it will save your brain ..you can walk home with your teeth in you hands but you can't walk home with a cracked skull
i know, iv had a few bad crashes but i dont know just event put effort to get one which i should cause i ride alot by myself but i realy only got like a 400$ moto-X helmet but its way to heavy for just biking
ya thats over kill lol ..probably pass out in it from heat stroke lol ..well you should get a good new dj helmet each year or 2 at the max if it was not banged up or worn much ..but if you were a baseball cap ..its protects a bit from wide open gashes forming .its better than nothing at all ...but sad to say it don't protect against blunt force trauma... ...me i i have had 2 insane crashes in my life time on bikes to know that i gonna always ride with a helmet and i buy 2 every year one dj and one full face...and now since i have snapped a DH frames tubes clean off taking the head tube with it in 2004 and now over shooting a dirt jump and eating the bars 2010 .....ya helm is what i want for sure ..in 04 i only broke my hand..thanks to full body amour ...for Dh i have the Full Armour kit for sure ..i don't down hill with out it ....
lol this is the Super 8 i broke in 04 http://psymosfear.pinkbike.com/album/bikes-parts-and-ads/?page=2 happened when i landed a drop too much or too big ..probably both lol ...ya one day we were just ridding down the mountain and i did a drop bottomed out bad then but continued to the next drop and when i landed it snapped the head tube clean off .bar,fork,stem wheel and the front steer tube went one way and the rest of the bike when with me strait in to the dirt no warning or nothing ....the shocks worked well the frame did not ..im very thank full for full DH Armour
i still have that broken frame it sits on my shelf all cool looking and broken
but i'm lucky i guess cause thats the only 2 crashes i have ever had ..i should probably of had way more crashes than that being that i ride brake less for park/street...and would not have it any other way ..
