Looking gooood!!! Can you tell me how the Vivid air performs at some point in the future (eg after some thrashing)? Razz I was thinking of getting one at some point sometime when I have enough money.

It is very nice with the air shock.
If you weigh more than 12 stone and ride hard then probably best to stick with the coil shock as I am running 275psi in mine just now, although if I was to ride a very rough and beaten up track with lots of holes in it I would drop as low as 225psi.
I run it pretty fast (as you have to with Air) and it sits up nicely, does not buck and takes the big hits in it's stride feeling pretty much bottomless.

How are the Flows? What hubs?

flag betsie Plus (Jun 9, 2011 at 11:48)
 The Flows are real nice.
I prefer them to 721's or 5.1's. Just changing one of my 721's to Flows.
Hubs are Saints. I also have hope proII/SPAM4 and Hadleys. All have their benefits.

Cheers, would you say strong enough for DH racing/ freeride? They sound abit too light + narrow, but seem to hold up very well in general..

Many race Dh with them, me included. I have thrashed mine all over the place, including 2 weeks in Whistler.
