hi mate sorry but i have another annoying question for you.i also have a new delirium im running totem solo air dh2s and vivid coil.i love the feel of the bike its like riding an 8" down a hill ,however i need to lighten it up a bit as im not getting to ride it how i would like.so is there much weight difference between the coil and air to sacrifice the feeling? also how are the lyriks at 170mm ,i had some of the 160s and i found them stiffer and smoother than the 36s.sorry for the questions mate but when i read the post it sounds like youve run every set-up possible.any feedback would be helpfull as i was considering trading up but dont really wanna if i dont need to.cheers rob.

Rob. I run lyrik solo air 160s on most of my *bigger* bikes. tbh I have never run (personally) 170s as the 160s are so good and for my bikes it is just too close to the DH rig. I also prefer lyriks to 36s. In fact I prefer rockshox forks in general. Not sure if budget allows but Knolly tell me that the vivid air can works well on the delirium. Maybe that's an option with a lyrik? Let me know if you want me to sort you out with any new rockshox parts as I am an official stockist. Ant

thanx for the feedback ant ,will have a good thought over the air can but it would really depend on the price as they are not cheap, last i saw them was on either rutland or winstanleys and they were about £450 .so will mull it over and see if i can possibly shift a few parts on first as im already trying to get rid of my hammershmidt to shed the weight.thanx again rob.

hey andy, i have run lyriks and totems on deliriums... the totems with the rear shock in the slackest setting feel awesome for freeride/DH use. I would highly recommend it. for more all mountain efforts a 170mm lyrik soloair (for weight) and a mid or steepest setting on the rear shock feel much more useable for all day riding. lots of fun on the way down too. I would also recommend trying out the new vivd air shock with totem solo air. SO light! Ant

Or you could just adjust the rear shock setting as required and buy a fork that suits your needs. Choose one, you can't have everything.
