my father is in the military so i used military collected AMR (acid mine runoff) from a previous extraction. in this case it was only 3.5M concentration but it still did the trick.
with a sub zero pH level the paint melts away in the blink of an eye, i just had to re-polish the steel.

not really, i just used some gnarly aerosol paint stripper, no scrubbing required the paint blisters and pulls off by hand
