he's a tard he cant help it we had a talk at our school about LGBT.... really hit home on how much the word "gay", is used in a derogatory way... i havent said it in the last month :L
Seems like people are finally doing some good - those kinds of talks really need to be done in schools. People need to realise section 28 is well and truly over (look it up if you're not familiar) and these talks should be mandatory for all schools ESPECIALLY faith schools whether they like it or not. Something needs to be done about the prolific use of the word "g.ay" and the homophobic bullying in schools. How many more kids have to hang themselves til someone listens?
Really nice to read a comment like that on here, it's not often! =)
yea was a pioneering thing done by a g.ayman at our school. worst bit was when he asked to come up with all the terms we use to describe g.ay people and all the terms we used o describe heterosexuals, made it so uncomfortable for us but amazingly not uncomfortable for him :L
Cheers I took RMPS at Higher so i have to be a good guy
Not uncomfortable for him as he's probably heard it all before. Any idea what the guy's name was?
And yeah I bet it was uncomfortable for everyone else! I bet a lot of people suddenly went quiet.
RMPS? Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies, yeah? I took GCSE Religious Studies at higher and really enjoyed it - I got an A*. Those kind of subjects make you a more tolerant person, even if I am a hardened atheist :p
