Are you going to paint it like a Glory? Or is that idea down the pan?

Powder coating was going to be really expensive, so I'm going to keep it like this.

I'm not sure i'd ever sell the frame mate. It's had a few mods to make it more suited to me.
+I stood in front of a buff for 10 odd hours.

Use paint stripper and wire wool, Or you'll put scratches in the metal and they'll be a pain to polish out.
Buffing is polishing:P
Use 2000 grit wet and dry before you buff it or you'll just ruin mops.

Yeah I use nitromors not sand paper, I just meant sanding it down with super fine stuff at the end
Is any polishing paste needed? Or just buffing?

Always use a polishing paste with the buffer
saves a lot of time.
I used a stainless steel paste, the aluminium used for frames seems to be really hard so the steel paste works brilliantly.

Yup, I'm talking about polishing soaps though.
After buffing, You'll want to give it a hand polish with a microfibre cloth and autosol.
Get your microfibre cloths from asda. Cheaper+better.

Make a new slot, cut it out and then drill a hole at the end to stop it cracking.
