Selected by Sterling Lorence - These guys are sending a message....and yes, we hear you loud and clear. Yes, please continue with what you are doing and please share with us the fruits of such progressive trail building. Mountain bikes are very capable creatures, and it is always great to see some choosing to explore those boundaries. Nice tease.
air time thoughts "here we go, blam that was huge, damn im getting up there, wow they built this thing huge, nice job gentlemen, i wonder where they got all this dirt from, must have taken a while because the plants are already starting to grow, hope they got a picture of my huge air, check out that berm we got coming up, i wonder how traffic will be on the way home, i hope the puppy is doing ok, did i leave the stove on, alright time to adjust myself to land, damn that was smooth." awesome job guys!
i've actually stood on it.. and it wouldnt suck that bad to case or land on the back side at all. and you have like a 30 foot step down before that, with like a 100 yard runway! you get so much speed
no offense, but what's the point? These huge machine built trails are only fun for so long, they put me to sleep. Single track that's tight, fast, and tech is where it's at for me.
I know right, I was just thinking that I can't wait to see these on video. I went to woodward west back in 2003. I wish they had a mtb program back then
nothing funnier then people getting upset about this being POD. Is it that big of a deal? Is your day ruined? Im sorry to hear that. Wicked trail guys. We need more trails like this.
What they are building is very sick! However, I don't see anything that makes this particular photo POD worthy. I'm not saying that build shots shouldn't be considered for POD's, but this one just doesn't have any notable photographic characteristics. Poor choice.
holly shit dude.. today i started buid new jumps.. and after i saw this picture i can see that i have to dig a little bit more hehe =p very good job right there! props"
Bobaboi!!!!! thats a real ass landing! That berm in background looking sweet also. I imagine speed will be crutial in this setup. Look forward to some action shots. Those guys must be getting nervous standing next to that beast before anyone throws down on it.
TROLOLO! But it seems to me that all the riders aren't amused these days if the video isn't in slow-mo and the picture isn't in black and white. What about those NWD4 shots with no ART in them, but only Bender sending those huge drops and crashing all the time. No one whined about that?
thats a large pile of the brown stuff!! wow!! whos first?? wouldnt mind seeing a vid or pic of someone hitting this ....... not sure about it being POD though......
Good on your Sterling for choosing a POD which could potentially make shit hit the fan!
Also, so good to see MTB's finally showing BMX that we can go as big, if not bigger than them!
