Dirt Jumping and Smooth? Hahaha how are you supposed to try new tricks if these wheels are for smooth people only? This is dirt jumping we're talking about, right?
i'm not suggesting all dirt jumpers are smooth. i'm saying i'd only use the xt wheelset if for tricks i had dialed. they're nice and light, so it'd be awesome to jump with them, but i personally run 36h mtx33s with 4x 14g spokes specifically to reduce my chances of tacoing that business.
Does Tyler, like many other sponsored riders, receive new batches of wheels from their sponsors every time one hits the bucket? If so, then running the XT wheels would be completely reasonable.. but does sponsorship even go that far? If it does, then that comments on how both the sponsor and sponsored view this product..... f*ck it, I'll stick to my heavy rims
