this is one sick machine !!! must be one of cleanest and sleak dh bike...awesome built dude...looks so light and dialed...what's the rear travel ? how does she ride ?
Cheers dude! That's pretty much what I was going for.. As for the weight, you'l probably be Surprised to hear that it is around 38.1lbs. But that aside, when you ride it, it feels incredibly light, very manoeuvrable and precise. Not the kind of bike where you just point at something and plough through! It has 7" on the back and it feels like there is plenty of travel. In all honesty, it doesn't feel like it is very good at taking square edge hits. But it handles drops very well and corners even better, it just keeps gripping!
great feedback !!! 38.1lbs is quite light for a full on DH bike....anything under 36.5lbs usually will have weak parts that will not last under hard conditions....just take a look at the the bike used at Fort William http://dirt.mpora.com/news/dirttvfort-william-world-cup-bikes-weights-measures.html ....they are closer to 40lbs when abused on nasty tracks....it's funny because, as much as I like my sled and yours (and many orhers, lol), they almost have nothing in common except seatpost and saddle...cheers
