its hard for me to say but this devinci is sick ass. i hate ther frame because of the rear frame, thats ugly as f*ck. but i like this one. see evry bike can be beautifull
Did you ever experienced brake squeal with saints/wilson combo? Mine just wont shut up. Wonder if i have a problem or if it is design related. Thank you!
Sick. You can't go wrong with Hope, had before, super solid Can't imagine how sensitive the suspension is in the rear, having a 10.5 i2i shock pretty low lev. ratio yeah? Prolly plush as f*ck
Ya it's awesome 10.5 with a 250lb spring... it's not too soft though, just perfect. Haven't rode it too much yet, but going to Whistler this weekend...sooo stoked
Damn, good for you Yep it's nice having a longer stroke shock, you can use a less stiffer spring. My SX Trail has a short 2.25 stroke, I only weigh 160ish with gear, and I'm using a 550 spring, and I'm at around 27% sag.
Appreciate it man. Im relatively new riding; Ive only been doing strictly dh/fr for 3ish months. It's boss, nothing quite like it. The Van 180 does everything, really good fork Saw a couple of SX's here on PB with Boxxer's on, I even saw a local kid with a '11 Fox 40 on his SXT I love the Boxxer on frames with less than 8in of rear travel just because A-C height is only 3mm more than any 180mm fork out there, doesn't screw the geo that much.
Have you tried any of the bikes I mentioned? I wanted to get input on them, I've asked some owners of these bikes on here but they didn't reply. I know the Wilson is outstanding, it's actually in my list as well What I like about the Podium (at least on paper) is it's WB is really long, which I like; and having tried FSR, I can't complain, I love it. And the newer Supreme has a floater, so I also kinda wanted to see how it feels on the trail...
Ya I've rode the v10c around a little bit... I've only ridden the supreme in the parking lot and I have ridden a podium. The Wilson is a "floater" too though. The Wilson has a concentric dropout with leverage modifier and floating brake (split pivot) if that makes sense. And as for the wheelbase, the Wilson's is only 3/4 of an inch shorter. And a longer wheelbase is not always a good thing.. Especially with the kind of trails in California.
