 oh my days. looks so sick. going to have to save for one of these now. do your 2012 rares feel any different to your 2010/11 ones on here at the moment? i have the '10/11's and thinking about updating the lowers to save a bit of weight but apparently theyve changed the busings and seals too to make it smoother

 The new RaRes are definitely smoother and the lightweight helps. Quite a big cost for a small improvement but worth it if you can. It's a medium/large.

Wish it was still this shiny!

 Man! to make your bike a bit ligther, and keep the power of the gustav, get Louise levers !!
theory: you loose a bit of power
in action: the louise lever is better to use than the gustav, it's more ergonomic

 42lb/19kg Pretty heavy but all the weight is in the middle of the bike so you really don't notice it :o)

 Magura Gustavs bud. Mega powerful with zero fade and easy to service. Unfortunately, they no longer make them and they're a bit heavy.
