Unit BMX riders Jake Reid and Dane Searls started this jump about a year ago, and when Dane Searls moved to the Gold Coast to work on the Giants Of Dirt, Jake 'Junior' Reid powered on and managed to dig this whole jump by hand! 33ft gap, 12ft tall take-off, 22ft tall landing. It is pretty much ready to ride, so stay tuned for videos and photos...

I would like to see him shave the excess off and build another lip out of it or something.

I have been staring at this pic for days trying to get an idea of scale and where a rider would peak on this thing. You would need to be going so f*cking fast to hit this. I cannot wait to see video of this being ridden. This jump is SRS.

I've been doing the same.I just don't think my mind can wrap its self around the size of this jump,I wouldn't be suprised if peak was out of frame in this shot!

I have been thinking the exact same thing (peak out of frame). If the landing is 22 feet tall, the peak of this jump has to be easily in the 30+ feet up range (probably getting into or close to the 40 neighborhood if you are boosting). Eek
