Selected by Ian Hylands - I'm not always a fan of the HDR look in photos, but I really like this one. I'm not saying that this is HDR, but it has that look, probably just judicious use of the fill slider in lightroom along with a really well exposed image. The action is solid, and I love the composition as well.
It is not to do with your country, but to do with the servers, or where the local time is... So it updates for everyone at the same time, but it is 12 o'clock for us in Vancouver, while it may be 10 in the morning while you are in italy..
What makes you think I don't like it? I chose it as POD and I said "the action is solid and I love the composition as well" you must be referring to a different Ian...
i dont know how to explain hdr as i dont particually understand it. but it blocks out some colours and enhances others (i think) put it in on your browser in images. there are some really cool photos!
HDR = High Dynamic Range, its a process where you take 1 over exposed picture, 1 normal exposed picture and 1 under exposed picture, can be done with 3 up to infinte photos, the over exposed picture lightens up the shadows, the under exposed picture lowers the brightness in the bright parts and all that gets merged to 1 picture. the outcome is a picture in which everything is exposed simillar (shadows/bright parts/middle), normaly you allways have shadows and bright parts which gives HDR the kinda "unreal" look.
