flag scottmillphotography (Aug 9, 2011 at 0:59)
He must have been flying for the front wheel to be blurry and a shutter speed of 1/250. Woww! Epic shot! tup

flag rippin-norco (Aug 9, 2011 at 1:15)
dont know why I just think this is a cool shot, the lighting is great, the rider is going fast, all in all, its just a great picture Smile tup

flag Apoc22932 (Aug 9, 2011 at 20:14)
He fired a flash for the lighting - Max speed for sync on a remote shutter is 1/250 sec. - Hence aperture of f/10 and ISO of 125.
  • + 2
flag downhillnews (Aug 9, 2011 at 20:49)
No MAX SYNC speed of a non Canon flash is 250 unless he is using Elinchrome Ranger RX's they will go to 1000+ I think!
  • + 1
flag Apoc22932 (Aug 14, 2011 at 16:28)
You're wrong, he'll be using a remote trigger to fire the flashes. For most photographers that are out and about the easiest method of remote trigger is wireless, therefore the highest sync speed that is reliable is 1/250.
  • + 1
flag AndyR (Aug 15, 2011 at 2:40)
You can use some wireless triggers in high speed sync mode to get shutter speeds up to 1/8000. Example: pocket wizard flex's and mini's. You're wrong Wink
  • + 1
flag downhillnews (Aug 15, 2011 at 7:35)
Or he could of used a 580 OC to fire another 580 Off Camera and gone high with shutter speeds also.
  • + 1
flag andydunwoody (Aug 16, 2011 at 13:03)
Or I could have shot it using elinchrom skyports synced at 1/250 for no other reason than what came out the other end looked good!
