If you end up buying the frame, I could just throw them in the box and it would only be a couple bucks more. I'm not sure what it would be for the bars by themselves, but it would most likely be less than $10. Maybe a lot less. it depends on the dimensions of the box. I don't have a box for bars atm, but I can get one easily.
no i think they would look funny on the sunday 24 i am getting in the next two weeks, no more general lee for me . i cant stand riding the back tire if i land hard
i am just changing the frame the general had weird geomatry for me. found one new for a steal so i am going to get it silver 21.75. i had to rebuild five bikes including new paint for other people but it will all be worth it
yeah i am working on building a new front wheel myself when i get the parts ordered and a left side drive clone with a moded axel will be laced up as soon as i get the time to unlace my current wheel
back is currently a blacksheep laced to a rsd odyssey clone, i am going to relace the blacksheep to a lsd odyssey clone with a female / male axel and a odyssey needle bearing 9 tooth driver (clone hubs are so easy and cheap to rebuild), the front i am going with a Delinquent rim but i have not figured out the hub yet other then maybe a female axel. or maybe i will take the vandero race off the s and m and use it, cause i have a spare front for it
I have an odyssey clone with a 9t driver on my cruiser too. no female axle though. I almost bought one, but it never happened. the only problem is the gear ratio is totally f*cked up. even with a 23t sprocket, its just too tall of a ratio to be comfortable.
my general is right now running a 30-11 cause it came with a 14t 2 peice driver and a friend gave me a 11t odyssey to go with a shadow 30t i had laying around, but on this frame it feels like i am pedaling up hill all the time. that is also a big part of the need for the new frame. to much like a mountain bike feel to my general lee, pedal fast and hard and get no where.
and the axel i am running is from premium it is called the ss $25 and odyssey has a female conversion to for 35.99
well, not really. bar spins are impossible due to pedal clearance issues, but I can't bar anyways. and its slightly harder to do most tricks because of the extended wheelbase and the extra weight. but once I got used to that it wasn't a problem anymore.
