crap i thought i had it bad last year when my right gear shifter punctured my knee but that was only 4 stiches and an apple sized lump on it. This is some terminator type shizzle goin down right there. Get well soon.

that still sounds pretty awful the knee is so sensitive

it was bad for a week as my leg locked up but after that i was riding again, although it took 6 months before i stopped getting sharp pains on steeper uphill sections.

thats quite a while for me the lever damaged my nerves its a year later and my ankle up area is still numb and my leg muscle was torn however I was fortunate in that it was actually a fairly clean impalement so I would say I recovered in about a month but then I re-injured it playing football but it only took another week after that to fully recover

my left brake lever if you take a look at the xray photo it makes more sense
