^^^ but there have been epic pictures that have not been given pod because the rider hasn't been wearing a helmet? over the last few years eveyone thought that to get pod the rider had to have a helmet on whatever the situation???
First off I wanna say this is one goddamn sick POD. Secondly, You guys aarre missing the point Ian is getting at. Look at the bigger picture too. I'm sure this guy always wears a helmet during riding but for "a controlled photo shoot" like this one where he is probably not riding a 2-mile long trail to get here, I think this is ACCEPTABLE. He was probably riding 30ft towards the river, hitting it, and then re-doing it. no big deal.
Thank you freedjdh ^^^ i come on here and everyone is always so intense on the pods and everything, its supoose to be a fun relaxed website, something that resembles our sport! brrap brrraaap
This is a pretty wicked picture, he must have been really movin' to get so far into the puddle, with the wave still in full height behind him. The light is great at well, would be nice to try this with an ultra wide + camera raincoat. It's all about fun and trying new things, haters always gonna hate.
I agree, why make POD on this pic, and not in this one> www.pinkbike.com/photo/4568589 i mean , this pic is cool and theres nothing wrong with it but something just isn't right Ian.
I had a foley bag explode in my face. It's nothing like riding through a puddle... I still have nightmares of hot piss on my face from that experience. It's not a joking matter.
