Selected by Ian Hylands - "Splash!" Sometimes the biking is just an accessory to the real action, which in this case is a combination of the beautifully lit water and the frog jumping. Insane timing on this one, and composition as well, it's tough to align all these things with something like a frog that doesn't follow directions...

The photographer was trying to get a nice pic of a peaceful frog sitting on a log when all of a sudden a rampaging mtb-er ploughs through scaring the poor amphibian.
