this is a joke right? 125 dollars off for dens in chainstay, , used, and it is scratched to shit....like, to scratch a powdercoated frame is nuts....i have an anodized frame with only paint scratches....no deep ones....get real bro...no offence, but id pay 185 tops

Well thanks for the useful insight James, but contrary to popular belief this is not a joke. You're american, so right off the bat I'm going to cut you some slack, because I understand that where you grow up has a direct effect on you're intelligence (don't get me wrong I know a lot of nice, smart U.S. citizens), unfortunately for you you're not one of them. So first I would love to know how you managed to scratch paint off an anodized frame, second don't call me bro and lastly $125 off would be the equivalent of selling this frame for under wholesale price. So unless you're a little girl that doesn't ride hard because you're scared of getting your frame scratched (witch by the looks of it is exactly what you are), a bit of purple paint missing won't be the deciding factor when purchasing a used frame that you know will get tossed around. If you don't want to buy it I have a great solution for you, don't.

you know what, your right. first, 75 percent of americans are stupid...and your right about this being under wholesale value, but on average, once you instal a bike, the price cuts in half. that is the same with cars after you put 5000 miles on it. a dent is another 25-50 bucks off depending on the size. and paint is only 25 bucks off. and obviously you know nothing about anodized parts (animal jump off stem, and many different other bike parts) anodized seals the bike from rust, and adds a cool, metal looking color...when you scratch off anodize, there is still the electro coating on it protecting it from rust.) and seeing as you dented the Fauk out of the chainstays you obviously are not an expirienced rider...the only actuall scratches that are in my frame are on the bottom bracket from dusters.

I understand the principal of anodization. Its electronically infused into the metal---NOT paint, wich was my concern with you having paint scratches on your anodized parts. The kid who owned this frame, witch for the record is not me, has probably been riding longer than you or me and is one of the best street riders I know, so I can assure you that a lack of experience is not the issue. I still think that a frame that retails for over $400 new is worth at least $225 in the shape its in now. Keep in mind im basing all this on CAD costs. Not mail order or USD values.

in the US it retails at 349.99...that might have been why i was arguing...i dont know how much it costed up their. and i dont know how good your street riders up their are, but everyone in my area has barely any scratches on chainstays, because we all ride street and passed learning grinds.

James sounds like a merchant, knowing how much a scratch costs you. Maybe that's just him with touch up paint and clay whenever he beats his frame.

im know what bondo is. if you are using it on your bike you probably spend too much time making your bike spotless then you do riding it.
