There's some sort of editing going on, maybe something cloned out. Open it up big and you'll see that the take off ramp comes down in front of the transition where the far sides meet, yet the transition comes down in front of the take off. A shadow couldn't do that.

They are both connected at the base of the lip then split, but the way the shaddow carrys on it makes it look like the back of the landing

There are a lot of good berms out there, not saying the one above isnt good but there are more amazing ones. Jimmys 12ft over vert beast comes to mind. Im guessing you just havent had much exposure to epic trails

Its a multishot. Many digital cameras come with this option- the really high end ones really do excellent work. My Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Note come with this type of photo feature. You can see them in my profile. Pretty cool!

^yes the entry level DSLRs and some of the high end compacts will make sequences in camera. But its more of an added gimmick than useful tool, all higher end / professional DSLR do not. The traditional way to do a "Sequence" is to shoot using the cameras burst/continuos mode and then layer all the individual photos in photoshop to create the final image.
