Cool pic. It does seem that's it's who you know on PB sometimes though with regards to POD's. While most POD's are indeed worthy, it would seem that a few select togs are chosen rather than scouting further afield.
not normally one to hate on a pod, but really? no offence to either colin's choice or LCE's pic, but this is a bit off... for me this picture doesnt really tell a story. it doesn't make me go wow. it doesn't really show me where, what or who. no epic scenery. no huge banger. just a bunch of blur. can totally appreciate where the photo is trying to go, but i think it just doesn't pull it off. would like to hear colin's justification for choosing this.
Nice image - sweet. Eye catching for the following reasons: unique angle/perspective with good riding tech/action, good combination of motion streak and freeze sections, blown out light and shadows, fill strobe and natural light. Take it from an ex 20 year pro shooter with plenty of credentials - nice work.
Great Pic. Something different then the normal DJ or AM riding down a nice hill with a cloud in the background or a dude on a DH bike flying around a berm. This pic shows some creativity.

Actually, I think thats the only part that is actually 90-100 in focus!
Personally I really like this image, only thing I'd change is having the riders face slightly more visible!
I can imagine the work that went into getting this shot tho... LOTS.
