tvsuckrideyourbike, you see bmxers hucking off a 20ft shore drops every day, your freeride pros are all bmxers (darren berecloth, paul B, timo pritzel, cowan, boyko,...), none of them made it big in bmx. well said. i dont know why all the mountain bikers are saying that bmx is gay. people who ride street and djs on a 26" suck compared to them. bmx is pure street/park so they are amazing at it. ive seen just an amateur bmxer at the skatepark backflip 360 the spine transfer like nothin and bust tailwhips. it was more impressive than any mountain bikers riding street that ive ever seen. i got loads of respect for bmxers.

It's all about the terrain. Double flipwhips HAVE been done on mountain bike for your information. If you really wanna compare BMX and MTB, then go to the Black Market site and look at the results from that MTB and BMX dirtjump comp, where both competed in the same category. Nobody rides MTB on vert for one thing, and it's only a matter of time before someone lands a frontflip whip on a mountain bike. Hell, someone almost pulled one of but actually over rotated the tailwhip. The direction freeriding is going now is combing the BMX tricks with Big Mountain terrain, something that can not be done on a BMX.
