hi there , i've just realized that is a "normal" v-brake not a u-brake yes ? if so how does that work on this frame ? you need an adaptor or something ? thanks

Its an older capital frame that uses v-brake mounts. Got a 2012 one on the way that uses u brake mounts.

what are the manitou forks like? does the bridge thing being behind the fork, make it easy on your foot in foot jams?

Stiffer and lighter than pikes and you can run the compression without blowing the seals unlike pikes and argyles lol. Can't comment on foot jams though as I son't do them.

Dunno yet. Haven't given them any abuse. See what they're like after a couple of months. Built really easy though.
