If only it was that simple. Politics in the US are so indecisive, nothing is ever going to get done. I've lost sooo much faith over the past 4 years. Promises were made, but never kept. Change will never come in the way that we want it, politics have become uncontrollable.

no dude i completely agree. I served in the 10th Mountain Infantry Division for a few years. I know how it works. Obviously doing these things wont really change anything like we hope they will. Honestly the further we get into debt, the more I just want to move to Kamloops or Kelowna. I'm getting kinda fed up with the States, especially after slaving myself in the military.

Yeah me too man, that's why I'm up in Vancouver for college! Get up here man it's boss, the news is so lame compared to the states because everything is so chill and they don't really have problems like we do in the states. Also, thanks for serving our country man, really. My grandpa was in the 10th during WWII so I think it's dope as hell that you were keeping it real for the 10th.

That was just one of a few i read and the basic layout of the buffet rule is to decrease taxes for those paying 250 000 - 1 000 000 a year from 35% to 25%, also increasing the taxes on capital gains from the now current 15% to 25% thus evening out the middle and upper class. the point is to make it more attractive for businessmen to invest in their companies and employees than personal investment. part of the rule (which is a strict guidline for the attempted bill that is on the table) is to close loopholes for overseas tax-free bank accounts and corporate deductions. This "rule" is an outline for a tax reform that IS on the table. You might remember that being your initial complaint about obama (as stated above). You have to see that i'm not the one being ignorant here, i've been reading on things like this for a while now and as far as i can see the only obstacle for things like this being put into play is the resistance from the republican congressmen. the reason this kind of thing even intetrests me is that we face similiar problems here in canada but we dont have any one person to blame and definately noone to try and help us. by the way calling people stupid does NOT reflect intelligence but ignorance and intolerance. people like you are cattle moving which ever way they are told to move. Your simply full of hate and anger but you don't have anyone to blame. I feel sorry for you. Show me some bills that obama has passed or attempted to pass that you disagree with and then come talk to me. you cant simply say that my country is in bad shape and the leadership is to blame.

try to find out what actually has been done and read as much as you can before you just sling blame around. for instance Bush's hundereds of billions of dollars handouts for corporations and lending agencies, while he lowered the taxes on capital gains by 5% came directly out of your pockets. not to mention the trillions spent on overseas war efforts. nothing bad to say about him tho... despit the fact that he couldnt put two sentences together he won the publics favour while raping them in the ass. That actually happened. saying obama is raising taxes for the middle class is just untrue. he is trying to do the opposite and the buffet rule is an example of what he's been laying on the table for future policy (hopefuly near future). Now, i've stated my opinion and youve shown your true colors (I'm sure your parents would be proud of what an ignorant intolerant ass you've become) let's just part ways before we both get banned from pinkbike. however since you mentioned it, trolling is when you go to forums and comment sections and pick fights with people for no good reason. I'm sure that when people read this and ask themselves who is attacking who the troll becomes obvious....

True. I thought the U.S. was doomed when they voted in Obama, but he's not as bad as he could have been.

Now politics is a fashion show for people who have money, there's no political part of it (look at Donald Trump, if he were to get elected into office, I would come visit Canada for 4-8 years). All I've heard about the next election is "defeating Obama", there's no plan to fix the economy.
