Any more info on your airride set up. Thiss guy here just picked up an 89 dodge ram 350 dually, Time to slam it. need ideas on how to do eet

I didn't install it, the previous owner did. That said, I know how to maintain it and some helpful tips if you have any questions. I just spent two days researching what it needs to run the bags in the winter (still avoiding driving in snow storms).

350 Ram Dually would need a fairly big compressor. Mine is max 150 PSI, he may wanna go more like 300 PSI. Try to keep the compressor out of the cab because they get hot as hell. If he can mount the compressor under the truck, that is a win. Make sure the bags have really good moisture collection system (that will become a necessity to drain almost daily in the winter). Seal everything REALLY WELL, and still expect a bit of leakage. Put in air ride anti-freeze in the winter and keep a hair dryer handy in the garage in case shit freezes.

Agree'd matte black would look amazingg

Not a chance of it being painted black. Once I mangle this paint I want to paint it tan on the upper half and chocolate brown on the lower half with matching tan painted fiberglass tunneau (SP?) cover.

Black is too hard to keep clean , u cant have this truck looking like she goes through swamps

Do you still have your sump? If yes then NEEDS MOAR LOW
  • 1 0
Too much fabrication required to go lower. No thanks.
  • 1 1
all i hear is "im too scared of all that awesomeness, so im going to go and burn my angle grinder so i have an excuse"
  • 1 0
Aaaannnnd that's how I know that you have absolutely no clue what would be needed to make this truck lower. LOL. Noob.
  • 1 0
Im not being a noob im being a trolll. there's a difference. Although no i honestly dont know about that truck. I assumed it was just a matter of notching the chassis, and cutting and moving shit that gets in the way out of the way? possibly mounting the exhaust in the bed so it stays off the ground Wink But i know nothing about your truck, heck i barely know anything about mine past what i plan on doing (slight low, wheels interior and speakorszzzz)
  • 1 0
New notch (step notch), tubbed bed, and a whole lot of other more minor shit is needed. Not worth the $$$ and effort to make my truck even more impractical. LOL.
  • 1 0
But the guys on vortex will call you a pussy (if you had a vw)
