WTF, fix your style of riding! What a load of shit. I've had 2 freinds with these cheese bikes crack and both have different riding styles. So Bollocks to you Tehran !

Finally somebody who agrees with me! I did two medium frames, only checked mine after getting a tip off from someone else on here, my mate's large had a stress mark on 'the weld' and seen/heard of probably 10+ cracking on here now!

it's because you didn't insert your seat tube enough into the frame, right?

Given that the seat post was touching the main pivot, pretty sure it wasn't!

and not inserting the seat far enough just splits the seat tube rather than causing a weld to crack...

and I never really sat down anyway given it's (supposed to be) a dh frame!

The kink in the top tube flexes under stress causing that weld to crack.

Yep. Thanks Giant, you successfully made a frame with less structural integrity than an innertube! (true story - front innertube out lasted that frame)

Don't criticize Giant, statistically Giant frames break much less often, compared to all other companies.

 Not mine:

http://www.pinkbike.com/forum/listcomments/?threadid=108818&pagenum=2 [stress mark]

I only looked at that weld on mine because somebody pointed out they were all breaking there... My friend had a large that admittedly lasted about 18 months but we could see a stress mark building up so he got rid of it. My 2nd glory only lasted 3 months unless you're hucking 20ft everyday now DH bike should crack in 3 months... Especially when they market it by showing Danny Hart hucking everything.

You're just trying to convince themselves that yours will be O.K, but I assure you it's just a matter of time - hope you get a 5 year warranty (and bought brand new) - when was the last time you looked at that weld yourself?
