I can vouch, it is only a small surface crack, that any good welder will solve cheaply

depends, I think its fine personally I've ridden with it for 9 months over jumps and trails. Its a surface crack, looks badder than it is as I scrapped the paint away to take a better look. It could be welded up for £20.
