Selected by Colin Meagher - I'm a sucker for epic AM shots, and this image of Richey Schley by Mattias Fredriksson is just the ticket for the crap weather outside. Gazing at this makes me want to book a ticket for somewhere with trails like this.
It is pretty funny, that it took so many years for both die-hard XC and DH riders to see something fun in between. It took so many "epic" pictures so someone can respect the best of both worlds. For many, it was always like that, it's just that bikes got better. Still only those can enjoy such places who are skilled and strong at the same time, Cheers to them!
A bike is just a brush connecting an artist to a canvas too bad even the finest brush in the hands of a poor artist will destroy it, like a hand blurring and smudging this graphic that trail is... I don't smoke pot - If I would it could be dangerous
This de between Soriška Planina(Soriska mountain) and Črna Prst (black earth), I think, fairly close to my home =) Far behind on the left you can see black ski summit(Črni vrh), on the right Porezen Hill. Where the ride is about 1600m + above sea level.
It's been quite a long time since our last slovenian POD, so I am STOKED to se one now.

i think hes lost his way to grandmas house he needs to be on the other mountain the one next to were westy was picnicking bye but its right behnd the green on its the one with damn trees on it its not that f-n hard this riders lost his damb compase or some shiz
I love that this photo could be anyone who can ride a bike. Sometimes a bunch of absolutely insane riding shots creates a bit of a disconnect between the photo and myself. Although they are inspiring, they dont give me that feeling of I want to be that rider, right there, right now. The simplicity of the rider also makes me focus on the image as a photographer, inspiring me to find places like this and take such clean photos.

After yesterday's POD this rider sticks out like a sore thumb! I get your point though, sometimes the scenery is so distracting that you forget there is even supposed to be a rider in the shot. If I were riding there I doubt I'd be able to keep the bike on the trail for constantly staring at the views! I guess there is something to be said for riding in the dense forest where you sort of get tunnel vision. It is a great shot.
