and btw the fork is 5.2lbs with 8 inch travel

Elka's are the nicest feeling shock by far... Mavic 823's are pretty damn bombproof, Hope brakes are SOO powerful, and nothing is wrong with an inverted fork. Less unsprung weight resulting in less bumps felt.

If anything, Id make the frame Aluminum because Carbon fatigues alot more.
