Seraph: Check out the new feature on the XTR derailor then you may understand why a chainguide is not necessary.
If you've ever spent multiple 8 hour days on a saddle you may also understand why that saddle is on this bike.

CMihalcheon: It feels bottomless Smile

Even with the new XTR derailleur I would still run a chain guide. I have spent 8 hours on a bike with the WTB Silverado and it was a great experience. I dislike Fizik saddles.

@Sargent-stinky, those are the new Straitline Amp pedals in Black Limited color. If I wasn't going clipless on my build, those would be my first choice for pedals.

Nice bike mate, is that a 180 talas fork? I ordered mine in November and I'm still waiting for it. When I get it, I plan to change the OEM fork with a talas 180.

Have fun!

The 160mm fork I have ordered for my not yet delivered Slash frame seems so inadequate now. How does it ride with the 180mm fork?

Except for the lack of a chain guide and that horrid seat, that thing's pretty dialed.

Bike fit needs to be done before I cut a steertube on a Talas.
