Cheers,urs is by far the nicest ive seen.iam just stryggleing to take the plunge.ino it'd be more fun on the majority of tracks i ride and was thinking of having a realy light 2nd pair of wheels for trail riding.just one last thing do you know the rear wheel spacing off the top of ur head? cant find the old spec for the 08s anywhere

its an old style.it originaly had a quick release but had the bolt through option on my hope hubs.not 100% certain but ithink its 135mm.

quality looking bike.ive got a 224 and a 5 and have been back and forth about selling both and gettin a patriot for an all in 1.what are they like on the big tracks? also have you ever ridden it for trail riding?

hi mate.i use a thompson 410mm seatpost,put gears up front,change the angles with the shock mount,slow down the rebound,i suppose climbing is a little more difficult than a xc bike but the payoff is worth it on the downhill.for bigger longer more hardcore tracks she rides fine.took her to the alps last year and she flies,overtaking any dh rig,shes light and agile but can take a beating.id defo trade your two rigs in for the patriot.hope this helps.
