Selected by Ian Hylands - Something about his position on the bike that just makes the whole thing seem kind of care free and whimsical, like a dance. When in fact if you look at the mountains in the background or the way it appears to drop off to the right, it's probably downright scary. Whatever the case it's a great looking photo that makes me wish there were bigger mountains here...

I can guarantee you I wouldn't be anywhere near that loose and relaxed. Not where he's riding, you know, near the bottomless pit of hurt. Props for huge balls and excellent photo

I do wish I could see just a little more of this image. The tightness of the crop leaves me feeling a little constrained. I do however LOVE the background. Just like Ian said it shows there is likely a big drop off on the right and the fact he is airing out this turn is NUTS. Makes me wish it was summer and I was back in Chatel!
