Also, I would get a single ring up front to make it a proper conversion.

 yeaa i really need one i did have one i got a vintage campagnola chainset off ebay for 27 pounds and my friend wanted it and he bought it off me for 90 pounds and had it on the bike for a bike so i just sold it for a profit but i really do need a new one...
