it also means that they're more susceptible to debris thrown up by the front wheel and if you come up short and land on a spine ramp for example with just the front wheel over, there's scope for the brake hose to become damaged by impact. Also, don't tell me that I'm wrong on the basis of an opinion please, thats not how it works.

I was not going to tell you that you were wrong as you are not Smile this frames primary functions though are dirtjump and 4X not street. but it can be used for that and park if you wanted to. Macmahone's street/dirt jump frame is a cromo frame witch has mid frame cable routing to protect from things such as that. the cable routing on this is to keep it discrete and out of the way to give the frame a nicer overall look.

why have you put in the ad that it can be used for street then? "frame can be run geared for things such as 4X and cross country or it can be run single speed for street or dirt jump"

because it can. it was designed for 4X and dirt jump but Macmahone also made it single speed so it could be used for street and park too. this frame is a great all round frame.Macmahone also have a cromo frame witch is primarily for dirt, street and park witch we will also be selling soon.

i cant see a problem with the cable routing going around the bottom.. if you whack it hard enough to rip a hose you'd have likely dented your downtube anyway, the fact its an alu frame sort of point towards the fact that its meant for 4x due to its weight and the fact itll fatigue quicker than a cromo steel frame, but seriously stepup, sort out your spelling! its which!

I don't like the idea of that hose/cable routing at all.

it is very good cable routing as it is discrete and keeps all of the cables under the frame. this means that they are out of the way and keeps the nice look to the frame.
