Im confused as to how you only used one exposure but yet the lights are blurred and the riders lit perfectly.

uses a long exposure to get that trail effect on the road and then flashes set up on the rider/jump give a sharp picture of the subject

slow shutter speed with the same flash speed except the flash dosent take 0.4 sec so the small amount of time is when the rider is lit up then we continues the trick in darkness

If you people knew who Harold Edgerton was, you'd know how this photo was taken without asking. I'm a zero at photography but i was lucky to see an exhibition and learned quite a lot. Check him out. Nice photo, i loved the technique.

The dump three is exceptional here. The night time shot is great having the buildings in the background. The photo is a little too centered for my liking, but a killer photo!
