 Still motion blur on the front tyre at 1/1250, great shot. I'll get wide angle shots like these when my Sigma 8-16mm arrives for my Canon 7d. So that will be 12mm wide on the sensor.

 You'll have fun with it, just watch things like wheels and body parts close to the edges and especially corners. I haven't used the Sigma myself but with most lenses of this type that's where the crazy distortion happens. And yes, it takes a fair bit to freeze a spinning tyre!

 This was taken with a hired Canon 10-22mm lens. Lewis Buchanan at the SDA round 5 at Innerleithen. Only one flash as you can see lighting up the front. Just don't know if I should opt for another flashgun or new software - Lightroom 3, instead of my Elements 8. My Sigma's getting delivered tomorrow - bring on the races!
