i just finished reasembling the fork after cleaning it putting new oil and greasing up gaskets and everything that needs it its felling like it was new again

they make them because they are the same as the slightly newer so if you take it to a shop to get rebuilt they can match it up

the bushings? there not really cheap i found some on ebay for 44ish. might as well buy new fork.

i have the same ones and bought them in this condition and rebuilt for 100 and they are amazing for me

good point, it kinda looks like wear in the coating but its hard to tell from the photo. my brand new fox had a little oil on one side right from the factory. i remember my friend had one of these on his santa cruz bullit when i first started riding. he loved it

Yah i have one on my iron horse and they are great. I dont mind having 2 inches less than the newer forks because i got such a good deal.

2005 Iron Horse 7point5. I have the boxxers that came on it set aside for the racing season so im using the older ones right now.

The bushings are done. They kill the coating shortly after
