Finding the right spot. The marks on the string represents the the shock length when fully extended and compressed. First you make draw a line on the link where the point could be with the wheel fully extenden. Then move the wheel the desired travel(200mm in this case), then you check with the string and the short mark and where it connects with the first line you drew on the link. Thats the spot you want to get the travel, then you have to be a little creative to make it work.
