DO NOT get Y cables. Get Snafu dual cables. Trust me on this one.

I've already ordered it and it's on the way, But Ive had the same sort of cable on my bmx before and never had any problems with them. But thanks for the information and I might try out a snafu one later on in time Smile

Ah ok. The difference between them is amazing. So much stiffer, and it responds instantly.

Thanks man Smile I can't wait to get it done. It won't of cost me anything extra either as I stopped riding my bmx. So selling the parts off that to get the frame and rims and spokes as I already had everything off the bmx like hubs and brakes and that
An yeah I'm doing this as I ride street all the time. So it's a good all round bike too

Yeah man. Same I thought bmx was my favourite. And I only 17 but keep growing and after not riding for a few months over winter I noticed that bmx was feeling smaller and smaller. So I made my 24 inch jump bike more street and now I'm building one exactly how I want it for street as I like it so much because it is just like a bmx. Just a bit bigger and feels more safe and nicer to ride
