YUP! I am asking $700 as a starting point for a frame, if you want more parts... better deal.
This bike was a project build ( I, like most who want a "New" handbuilt bicycle frame had to wait months for it) that unfortunately came together too late. I broke my back so I will not be riding this bike. This frame does not have a scratch on it. It is in the same condition as a frame Landon hand packed, had you ordered it and waited for it to be built. I never got to ride it... I know poor me right?
Here's how I see it:
-If you want to get one directly from TonicFab, go ahead and pay $800 plus shipping and find a campy headset. Hopefully Landon has some built and ready to ship so you dont need to wait months for it like I did.
-If 700-800 is too much for a frame in your book, understandable, but TonicFab charges 800 not me.This one is just exactly what they sell only cheaper and most likely in your hands faster. There are plenty of cheaper frames out there, go buy one if thats what you want.
-My ad is listed as "or best offer" if I start at my bottom dollar it doesen't give me much room for offers does it?
-And then there's grouping deals, how about $1000 for a BRAND NEW $800 frame, BB, Headset, and a Fox Float 36 rc2? you could look at it as 700/300, 600/400 either way the deal starts to look better right?
-The goal here is to sell this high end, handmade bike to someone who wants it. If someone doesen't want it, no worries. If they want a cheaper one, maybe shoot me a reasonable offer or just wait for another to come by. Maybe one that cased a few doubles in its day or tumbled down the stairs a few times.
-I am not upset you don't want to pay my asking price for my brand new frame. According to your profile you are in Canada and I stated in my ad I will only ship to the lower 48 states.
This bike has been up for a day and luckily I am not broke (yet).
