I just rode it for like 30 secs in the parking lot after I built it, It feels really good, seems like a really stiff frame! but can't say to much since I didn't "really" ride it yet. Its driving me nuts, just sitting there looking at me in my room. Damn winter!
Just ice it up. seriously it sounds stupid but you don't slip at all on the lip. I just did multiple layers of water and snow, and left it over night. When it freezes up its good if you want you can put a old mat over it (helps a bit). Make sure to do a lot of layers or else you will eventually brake through and then itl suck...
