Thanks now that the 25.6 in wide bar is off it feels better, not bad for 600 , but nothing like ur khs or what your banshee will ride like

flag kbakes (Feb 19, 2012 at 11:47)
What bars did you throw on it? And I'm sure it does man, those Devinci's are very solid bicycles.

flag beeboo (Feb 18, 2012 at 22:49)
Sounds good! So hows your first impressions an riding it?
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 18, 2012 at 22:50)
 Sus is pretty stiff
Shifts smooth
I gotta play with the rebound the fork moves super slow lol
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 18, 2012 at 23:01)
You can always take some air out to make it more softer. The PSI might been too high for your weight. And fiddling around with the rebound won't be a problem. You kind of want it on the faster side so it rebounds out fast for the next hit
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 18, 2012 at 23:02)
Yea I want it fast that's more what I'm use to but this is far from fast
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 18, 2012 at 23:06)
Yea it's just a quick turn of a dial and it'll be set. Try putting it all the way up and slowly decreasing it because you definitely don't want it bucking you off

flag Nashmeyer (Feb 18, 2012 at 23:07)
Yeah but for some reason I think the kid took the caps off so I dunno witch one is witch
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 18, 2012 at 23:12)
Why the hell would he do that Confused I believe rebound on Marzocchi is the bottom right leg but check out the manual on their web site just to be safe
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 18, 2012 at 23:13)
Yeah I'll take it for a good run tomorow as is with boobar , then I'm going to start regressing the bike so I'll do it then
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 18, 2012 at 23:15)
Sounds like a good plan! I gotta regrease mine all up since i got metal shavings all in the pivots from grinding down the CNC'd seat post area to make my Vivid Air fit. Then I'll build it up and go for a rip with you Smile

flag Nashmeyer (Feb 18, 2012 at 23:17)
Yeah! When's your fork be in?
  • + 1

  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 6:21)
Oh yes! I need to do alot to mine since everything is brand new. I gotta break it all in!
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 8:00)
Lol for you I guess a full week , you prob go to Milton a bit that week eh?
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 8:31)
I'll probably go twice since Milton isn't that close. It's about a 45 min drive to Kelso. But I'll definitely be riding alot back home since there's alotta great trails
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 9:04)
Boobar is now on , holy shot it doesn't pedal well, and she's heavy but it rides smooth and won't break too many parts , it's got raceface evolve cranks on it now
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 11:03)
Ok great and ahhhha what did you expect, its a full on DH bike. It likes it rough stuff Wink

Yea I'll get use to the weight eventually
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 12:53)
Yup, everyone does. Do you know how much it weighs?
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 12:54)
Ita gotta be 40 I would think , btw that seat is the most un comfy , gayest boner seat ever
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 12:56)
Thats not bad. My black Shocker weighed more then that at 41 lbs. And yea i beat, it looks like its time for the garbage lol
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 13:02)
Yeah I'll buy new one eventually, i wouldn't doubt it if the bike was 45pounds
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 15:51)
Ahhhha now that'd be a tank. I wanna see how heavy it is compared to my Sunday when we meet up! When you do get that beast on a scale lemme know how much it weights Razz
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 18:02)
I need to find out how much my other ways first ! Haha but your I would think be around 33
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 18:40)
Yea it should be. I got pretty decently light parts. Just my Boxxer WC and Vivid Air drop over 3 lbs off of coil sprung suspension Big Grin
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 19:43)
Havocs and decendants will be light also
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 19:48)
Oh yeah! The XO brakes and XO drive train weigh like nothing too. I dropped a good amount of weight switching from the stock Avid rotors the the Hopes
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 19:50)
Man your bike might be lighter then my O1 :p
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 20:29)
Nawh, theres no way it could be
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 20:43)
I was kidding , but it will orob be lighter then your old cove foreplay
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 20:47)
Nawh, theres no way. My Foreplay probably weighed in at like 26 lbs. It had pretty descent parts
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 20:48)
Really? I thought u told me it was 32 before lol
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 21:04)
Noooooo way. My SS was around that weight!
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 21:05)
Dude , I got an idea , if I go ss , air shock , drill holes in every part of this bike should be 35 lb then
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 21:28)
There's no way. I know that fork is pretty beefy and the older style Wilson frames were pretty heavy
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 21:32)
Drill many wholes in the frame and all parts
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 21:34)
Lmao if you want to throw $600 away Razz
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 21:36)
Yeah I dunno I'm thinking maybe no upgrades other than seat , and just saving up for new dh
  • + 2
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 21:44)
Whaaaaaaat, already! See how this bike goes and slowly change out what you want
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 21:46)
Man in the end slowly upgrading will cost more then a good used dh , if I save 1500-2000 then I could get a pretty decent one
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 21:55)
True say. You could always add on a few parts to this then once when you get a new bike transfer the parts over to it?
  • + 1
flag Nashmeyer (Feb 19, 2012 at 21:57)
Maybe , I need to get into this first
  • + 1
flag beeboo (Feb 19, 2012 at 22:01)
