Yes I can do that or I could put them in the photo album and put a link to your facebook or pinkbike. That way in a few months time people will still see it and it won't be forgotten. ??
hey, we want to build a park like that, but we really do not have a good idea of how we should build good ramps, and how far ramps should be apart. we've done it before but those ramps were a lot smaller.
If you have any tips please help us out a bit... this shot looks so awesome, must be amazing flying through the air like that..
no one would be hating on your comments if you didn't put that spam link to your facebook page every day. You have great comments but the incessant link is what gets the hate.
well, i'm very sorry for the link, but we really really really need the likes to get a place were we can start building... and when we can start building there will be more photo's and stuff that you can see, i know that i looks crappy now... but that will change if we can get enough people to like our page... and why is it spam?
I'm all about links that add to the value of the pod/vod like above when jazzah gave another angle of this shot above. The definition of spam is to send the same message indiscriminately to large numbers of recipients on the Internet and I see your link as that, even if it is a good cause.
well oke, if you look at it like that, than yes it is spam... I hope you do understand the reason though... are you by any chance the person who posted something on our facebook page? bowman? and i hope that the link isnt insulting anyone...
I think if you are wanting to build some trails, you are going about it the wrong way.
Find a spot of land no one uses and you won't get in trouble if you use and start digging. Making a facebook group without any idea as to where you can build is a waste of time. Go for a walk in the woods!
i think you are seeing this wrong, we have nice woods, but it is quite a crowded place and we will be spotted, people will notify authorities... it really really is illegal to build anything at all we NEED to have permission otherwise we risk very high fines for destructing natural landscapes etc we can get permission if we show that our idea is being aprecciated, this can be done by a facebook page...
You have no information at all in regard to that on your facebook page, zilch. You need to get a group of people together and approach the council / authorities then. Random likes on a facebook page won't help.
Talk to them about what the chance of building something is, whether a petition would be beneficial. Your currently wasting your time regardless.
actually, we've already done that, we are talking with the aurhorities but because of strict laws and rules its very difficult to find a place and the random likes do help... we have also started a small local petition, but with this page we are hoping to not only reach people from our city, but from the complete region.. yes, most of our likers are americans...
Then perhaps explain some of that on the page? Otherwise the authorities could say - the people liking it have no idea what they are even liking, as its currently some little kid on pinkbike begging for likes on PODS.
@lars1995 - I havent posted anything on your facebook page, just visited it and thought it was irrelevant to the PODs you've been commenting on. I'm done talking about this but I think you should gain local support like jezzah is suggesting. best of luck to you but seriously stop adding the link to comments to POD. Maybe raise awareness through the pinkbike forum.
@ everyone not supporting the netherlands kid wanting to ride his bike like you. Understand that it is illegal for him to move dirt period. Instead of adding your two cents, add your support. Every 'like' shows figures of authority that other regions/areas approve and support the movement. Stop being so difficult and acting like your road is the only road to the mountain top. Help the kid out and show support.
Yay! a dirt jump POD! I knew it was Daryl Brown even before I looked at the description. He has a way of taking this trick past the realm of possibility
Awesome man! Your pictures are turning out awesome keep it up! Here are some of my recent pictures, haven't been getting out to get any biking shots for a while now www.flickr.com/photos/66750524@N07
