I once tried hitting a gap jump on a tandem at interbike. It didn't end well.

Where are the rules that dictate whether something is POD material anyway? Just because it's not someone hucking off a 100 ft. cliff while doing a quadruple backflip doesn't make it any less POD-worthy. I hate it when people say a pic isn't POD worthy. When you are the ADMIN of pinkbike, then you can say whether or not a pic is POD-worthy. Until then, shut up and stop leaving these stupid comments.

It is a downhill tandem. Ellisworth Makes them. A relic from the Bender sender days. Pretty sick looking with I think 8" in back and monster in front. I wanna see someone rip a trail on one. That would be crazy!
Correct, but I think the Ellsworth Tandem was 6 inches in the back. There is a scene in Warren Miller's Storm where a few guys crash one in Virgin, Utah...
Actually it is an Ellsworth Witness, with 4" inches of travel in the rear. Any more travel and the Stroker (the rear rider) would lose a lot of pedaling power. That Miller video is pretty tweaked, I couldn't imagine falling on that rig. I would feel so bad if I ate it on top of the other rider and hurt him. It would be a comfy fall hahahah.

That would be so hard to coriograph pulling up before that drop, those rump riders are probably having quite the adventure.

Last summer on our bike-camp in leogang there was a couple on DH tandem Nicolai bike. One of them was blind (the rear one named Wladim). That what they were doing was simply amazing ! Huge respect !!

Let the DH guys what the DH guys do best. Freeriding, urban, jumping, TANDEM!!!, we're all doing what God put us on this earth to do- Shred up the mountains. Whether that's uphill or down. You have a problem with guys riding tandem? (and last time I looked at the picture, that was some serious tandem riding). They're enjoying the ride. Go enjoy yours. It's the POD, you can't change it, and all the negative opinions suck anyway.

Thanks Guys, I don´t ride that tandem for 2 years now, but feeling very nostalgic about it ( Sponsor Changes). I had The time of my life riding it from the back seat, its awesome, it takes full trust on your front buddy and a good set of team work. We use to Ride it on national DH champs, we were always the first to go on track so we could have time to set four our individual runs. Its a Super Monter Fork, 300 mm travel. I have some more pics around my PC. Stay tunned on my album, i will try to upload some soon. Thanks to all tha liked it
