i kinda like the power lines

In my view of this photo i don't think the powerlines make it any worse of a picture at all.

They make the picture look good but they are kinda distracting from the rest of the shot

imdabomb, how are they distracting? I didn't even notice them before I read kjones' comment! Wink

yeah it's kinda cool how the lines all interesect there at the top and the sun is lined up exactly with the power pole by chance. I know this is way overly analyzing, but I don't think they make or break the photo (but that is already obvious since it mad POD anyway). I love the color of the sky in this shot. Now if only the clouds would go away here in Oregon...

PHOTOSHOPPED. the sun's streaks wouldn't go over the persons arm and bike... haha just kidding i actually really like the photo and the use of photoshop really enhances the picture. The only thing i would tweak is not make the sun SO dramatic but great shot.

If you made the sun "SO dramatic" you wouldn't be able to see the rider very clearly...

@imdabomb, they aren't really THAT distracting, the rest of the picture is cool enough that they're not really too noticeable

Photoshop out those power lines, and then it would be perfect...

It's hard to call the power lines, If he shopped them out it might look way better, it might not. I find them a bit distracting.

...that's because they have been pointed out...for no reason. it's like looking at Col Sanders and someone telling you his bowtie is a little body. can't undo that once seen...but anyways, i digress...

The powerlines, the little house and the urban feel of this photo totally work. Shows awesome use of land that would otherwise just be a dumping ground for old cars, CRT TVs and occasional 'gangsta' corpse... ;oP

Very nice colors and timing!! The power lines are hard to avoid in La Poma but with some thoughts about composition you can at least include them in the photo somehow Smile

The only thing this photo is missing is a flame decaled turbospoke! Not POD material due to that tiny flaw
